Intensive courses: The academic intensive course series were created to serve an extended and focused study. Participants who master the elegant, yet simple skills taught here will work with more efficiency, and with stronger suggestive styles. The academic intensive course workshops aim to teach clear visual thinking, which enables greater control in faster paced classrooms or working environments, as well as improved management of advanced materials and subjects. Offered in consecutive all day meetings, the time-indulgent pace permits a focused intensity on the work. Taught to groups through successive skill-building classes, learning is fortified by the close bonds that form between participants (max. 13)
Saturday courses: Through adopting different painting, drawing, creative mediums and exercises we offer 5 hour long concentrated teaching sessions. The basic principles covered are life drawing, nude modelling, life painting and life sculpture. Our courses are open to all. From those putting a portfolio together to absolute beginners and in equal measure for those with a lot more experience. We encourage those with a delight and fascination for the human figure as well as those with a critical and constructive view of art and its practices. The participants will learn to acquire the important and essential standpoints for grasping the figure, and with each session, deepen further this acquired knowledge and ability.
